Living with dead relatives...?
I don't care how much money the woman had, it just doesn't seem very mentally stable to live in your home with your dead aunt in the next room for 12 months.
It's hard to see a dead corpse even for a few hours or a couple of days, but for a whole year?

I see you've been busy blogging. :) Good job. Maybe your woman in question just was comforted by the sight of her aunt lying peacefully in her bed. Sigh.. such is the power of love.
From what the article claims, it was mostly for financial reasons - living off of the dead aunt's pension and such...of course, there is a slight bit of skepticism since not every article may convey 100% accurate information.
Nevertheless, the dead aunt was apparently mummified - how is that a pleasant sight? It hardly indicates the sight of someone lying peacefully in her bed.
My point is, I don't care how much you love a person. I have seen the corpse of someone who I love and respect very much, but never would I want to keep that corpse sitting in my home for any long period of time. It cannot be good for anybody's mental or physical health.
